The particular inclination of the tip of 40 degrees takes up the same angle of the Eclisse 40 Collection door frame that inspired it and which won the Red Dot Award 2020 in the Product Design section.

The 40+1 handle by Mandelli1953 completes the “door project” with the same aesthetic expressiveness and reinforces the concept of “incomparable functionality” of the frame described by the jury of the international award.

A real piece of furniture, 40 + 1 is available in different finishes: mat graphite, pearl black, glossy nickel, matt satin nickel.

Made by Lorenzo Ponzelli and Francesco Valentini who worked on the concept of clean lines but present with character, trying to make it elegant with simplicity.

For this reason we made the tapered shape from the base point where it’s fixed to the door, up to the tip, and at the same time folded inside so as to play with lights and shadows to represent the cut facet of the precious stones. The tip, on the other hand, perfectly shares the 40 degree inclination of the Eclisse 40 frame. The upper and lower inward fold gives an excellent ergonomic grip, which makes it almost unique in the panorama of squared lined handles.
