The concept was based in the simplicity of operation, basic shapes, ergonomics and very easy installation.
The activation and locking without noise was one of our main focus on
the development, as this type of locks is mainly used for residential purpose the comfort is mandatory.
JNF developed an innovative magnetic lock with flush handle concept for sliding doors.

Ergonomic and no aggressive edges, even with square shapes is archived with careful production, taking special attention to all small details, such as making this product suitable for handling by people with disabilities.
The diversity of door thickness in the market was a big challenge in the design, with a completely new concept of sliding door lock we were able to make it universal, can be installed on doors from 35mm thick.
For the pocket doors the flush handle on the top of the door, allows to open the door completely, leaving complete passage opening, very important feature, specially for areas that need access to wheelchairs.
As the lock is magnetic and don´t use springs, can be used in high traffic places, and for passive security, we develop a system for emergency opening from the outside, occult that activated only by person who knows the secret.
To solve the biggest problems of the typical sliding door locks, JNF created one lock that cannot be vandalized (broking the latch with inappropriate use) as our model the latch is always concealed and only activated when the door is closed. The stainless steel is the main material and can be supplied in satin or mirror polish and with titanium PVD finishes black, gold, cooper and chocolate, additionally can be supplied with Microsafe finish, the JNF antimicrobial solution. As design and mechanical features this lock standout from what we are used to see in the market, reason why JNF apply Patent and design protection for this model.
